Teletubby Hair

So, for a long, long time I've had short hair and decided to grow it. I had a go at putting my new locks into a bun on the top of my head, following my three sisters and every other Jack Wills wearing, spineless moron out there. Why do people do it?! Not only do I look like Po from the teletubbies- Po being the German for bum, so, not only do I look like a bum, I can feel parts of my head throbbing that I didn't know existed. Also, my boyfriend keeps laughing at me. Wtf people with stupid hair? How do you manage entire days like this? Stop it; it's stupid. No-one gains from this.

Year Abroad

So...A month after my last post and my life has changed immensely. I'm doing my year abroad in Vienna (love it!) Anyway, I couldn't help but notice that a lot of people are blogging their time in various countries and any site about taking a year in a foreign country will recommend this. To be honest, they all seem a bit conceited (woe is me I'm homesick, look at me I can speak more than one language etc. etc. ) That's boring. So Im making one post. This post, if you hadn't noticed. I'm abroad. It's fun and a damn sight less hectic than London. Good. Here is a picture of a tablecloth in a beer hall. I want it. Yay Vienna, etc.

Primark Jewellery

I love it! It goes orange in about two seconds flat and you can't go out without the gems falling off/ the whole thing falling to bits, but sometimes, I go into Primark like; 'yes I'd like to look very bloody bling when I go out this evening, and I'd only like to spend about £1.50 please.' Who cares if it doesn't come home in tact? I spend more on my kebab on the way home!

Here are my faves, they both cost about £2:

Witchy fun

Gutted. Sat here in Grimsby where it's chucking it down, while my sisters are sunning it up in London town! So, I'm focusing on the positives. I bought a 'winter cape' from American Apparel when I started Uni, which turned out to be:

  • Not warm
  • Far too big (like wearing a blanket with holes for arms)
  • Short
Despite it basically being a failed cape it's really fun to wear! There's a massive hood and I get to swoosh around like a witch. It's like a wearable umbrella. Anyway here is some woman off the website wearing it. Maybe I'll get the red one and be little red riding hood.....

Glasses!

Everyone rush over to specsavers and try some glasses on! Roll on eye test, I've tried them all on already! Check it ouuuuut......

Jeans, Yes Please!

I have a friend who never wears trousers. Ever. She explains that 'they don't suit her' and always wears teeny tiny skirts. I roll my eyes in her general direction.
I bought a high-waisted pair in the Asos sale when I was 16 (I realise that I'm starting to sound like all of my clothes are super old and bought in sales; they aren't.) Anyway, I love them. The major clincher when I'm buying jeans is that I like 'em high (enter jeggings. Well done, by the way whoever invented them). This isn't a stand against hipster jeans, I'm just, as my mother says, 'a bit of a Terry-Tucked-In'; I like to be warm ;) So here they are, the love of my life. Here's to another four years of being warm and tucked in!
